Thanks are due to raygun and Tom P. for the master mini-dv tapes and to OutsideTLaw for the audio.
1-disk version also circulates.
Sound upgraded w/excellent LB-5025 (Schubert) audio.
Used LB-4857 for opening credits applause on Disk 1.
Two video sources, both master dv mini-tapes.
Source 1: Left balcony 40 degrees; complete in excellent quality. Source 2: Left balcony 30 degrees; incomplete, shaky, obstructed, but with some excellent close stretches.
This is a fine disc. Just a quick note/question. There are three versions of this show now-- all from the same video source. One has a two star distance rating, one has three star and one has four star. These are the same video source. I know, I know, consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. But still...
I'd say the two star would be closest to the truth. This is a distant video. It was always very steady and clear, and with the upgraded audio, I'm sure 4 stars is justified. But it is distant. Really.
