COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-166:
Another great performance from Cardiff, Bob always seem to give his best in Wales.
well filmed close and intimate.
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.
LB NOTES FOR LB-6338:
bittorrent download 08/08; in 4-way comparison these are different recordings based on different crowd at end of d1t9; NTI LB-6327 is the warmest, then LTD LB-5159, then this, then bootleg Never Mind the Bollocks; NTI LB-6327 seemed too warm on the muffled side; this and bootleg Never Mind the Bollocks had fuller sound than those; this seemed to have best balance of sound; excellent sound [A]
I did not harm the sound of the recording in any way.

DIFFERENCES AND IMPROVEMENTS OVER D166.m/MS-166:
-sound upgraded
-used stills to fill missing parts
-different top and track menus
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-wildly enthusiastic crowd; Dylan responds with an energetic performance
-unfortunately, no harp
-scintillating leads by Campbell, especially on “Silvio” and “Highway 61 Revisited”
-fine performance of “Stone Walls And Steel Bars” with cool country harmonies by
Campbell & Baxter
-nifty guitar work by Dylan and Campbell on “Tangled Up In Blue”
-convincing takes on “This Wheel’s On Fire” and “My Back Pages”
-Dylan quite animated during “Highway 61 Revisited”
-crowd sings along on choruses of “Like A Rolling Stone” & “My Back Pages”
-Dylan stares straight into camera for about 30 seconds at ~42:28
DISTANCE/POSITION: 8-14 (Right floor 30˙) (despite a vulnerable position amidst the crowd, the filmer managed to train the camera on Dylan mostly waist up; some zooming out to show Campbell and glimpses of Kemper, but panning limited so views of Garnier and Baxter infrequent)
AUDIO: 15 (superlative LB-6338)
STEADINESS: 10 (quite watchable once filmer gets a firm position)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 7 (obstructed between songs and often during songs, but filmer manages to keep trained on Dylan once the songs get going)
FOCUS: 14 (excellent color, though a bit vivid under red/orange light; adequate light; focus sharp except when obstructions necessitate re-focusing)
EDITING: missing and defective parts filled with stills; film has several stretches of static that required stills (see description in setlist details)
