Disk author's note: The video suffers from over-exposure, probably due to the bright lights set up on the lip of the stage. This effect can be seen most readily during "Love Sick" when the bright lights were used to punctuate Dylan's phrasing.

This is the third of three April 1999 films that were recently released for authoring. As was the case with Valencia, Spain (D1013) and Zürich, Switzerland (D1015), we were fortunate that stellar audio was available. This item is a notch below the others due to lighting problems which led to over-exposure. Perhaps this was due to the special problems of staging a rock concert in a bull ring, but, nonetheless, there are plenty of great moments which make D1014 well-worth seeking out. The stand out performances in my opinion are "Masters of War" and "Desolation Row" in the acoustic set and "I Want You," "Love Sick" and "Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat" in the electric set.
I'd say that 4+ Stars is only fair for this one.
