** Fresh 8mm transferred professionally to digital remainder best available nothing we belive is poorer than 2nd gen though in some cases it is impossible to be certain. As there is very little from this period it was deemed correct to make sure this disc contained everything.
Sound redubbed from appropiate audio masters supplied from masters or Les Kokay collection

An welcome to the first in this series which I hope will set a few things right and will set a new standard in some older films.
But first a story, some years ago I was given my old friend, Dave Dingles collection on his passing. as you will be aware all his original tapes found there way into my "Masters Series". However I was given a lot more than video tapes, I was also handed a pile of 8mm films, many unlabelled. Now I had no means of playing the films, so I looked into the possibility of getting them converted to video.
In recent times the technology to do this has really improved, I found it was now possible to get digital copies. The films were effectively duplicated frame by frame then assembled. So I shelled out an got them made. Of course some proved new, some proved of no interest. But the surprising part was the few I had seen before as video. Suddenly they were far better quality, far sharper and brighter. Some though didn't have sound. So, I turned to my many friends in this strange pastime. So I started to assemble volunteers to help me get things done. It was not my intention to make this a long term plan, but before I knew it we had The Restoration Team.
I started asking old (sorry guys!) collectors to locate other cine films, but it soon grew beyond cine films. The generosity of some of my fellow collectors never ceases to amaze me.
So whats coming? Well literally many many hours of stuff, all at the best possible quality, many from the original recordings and quite a cache of previously unavailable material. Virtually everything with new improved sound. So enjoy it.
Of course there will always be room for improvement so if anyone can help, contact me. Its in everyone's interests to produce things in the best possible quality. The start of this means the end of all my other "Series" apart from the Masters series, though now I anticipate that everything issued will be sound upgraded before release, at least thats the plan.
