Just a few words about this DVD.
Regarding the film sources, all three are quite good. D357 and D358 have been previously sound upgraded and are listed in the catalog as D357.su and D359.su. Of the three source films, I judge D357 to be the best, although D359 affords extreme close-up shots from stage right, and D358 has more close-ups from stage left than does D357. It is important to note that D920 is sourced from uploads of the master tapes, and is thus best available quality.
As far as Dylan's performance goes, this ranks up there with his very best. The singing is clear, direct, and powerful, and the song selection is sublime. The acoustic numbers are particularly riveting, with excellent interplay between JJ and Dylan, and with some tart harp playing by Bob on "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "It Ain't Me, Babe."
If one has to nitpick, I suppose one could complain that there's far too little footage of BB, especially on the acoustic numbers such as "It Ain't Me, Babe" with him on mandolin, and no shots of wild-haired drummer WW at all.
All in all, however, you're not likely to be disappointed by this excellent program.
