D831 comprises the BBC Four programme Dylan In The Madhouse, first screened on 28 September 2005 and separately available on D613, plus an edit (comprising all the Dylan songs but missing everything else) of Bob Dylan's Blues. The original tribute concert of that name was performed on 26 September 2005 at London's Barbican Centre and broadcast by BBC Four four days later on the 30th. That broadcast, preserved on D612, lacks two songs - Tomorrow Is A Long Time and Simple Twist Of Fate - included on D831, the emergence of which enabled the production of D612.rev, the first DVD to offer the 2005 concert in full.
