HARTFORD, CT FOOTAGE:
DISTANCE/POSITION: 15 (big screen shot)
AUDIO: 15 (LB-3957, LB-6506 both rated A at LB)
STEADINESS: 14 (screen shot steady, but filmed had to move as fans passed)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 12 (a few obstructions when fans pass between filmed and screen)
FOCUS: 9 (a tad better resolution than D726 and VHS source tape)
EDITING: the mini-dv tapes had occasional glitches and tracking problems, particularly from "Tears Of Rage" until final 3:35:16 of "Like A Rolling Stone" thus throwing off a/v sync; this required the use of brief and longer stills at various points
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY FOOTAGE:
DISTANCE/POSITION: 14
AUDIO: 15 (LB-6497)
STEADINESS: 10
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 10
FOCUS: 15 (excellent color and resolution)
EDITING: Source tape had five mostly intact songs, but only three were worth including due to extreme tracking and shakiness problems
ADDED BONUS FOOTAGE: all three clips recorded off HD TV to VHS tape; "Jackass" footage is 2nd generation copy

LB notes for LB-3957 (Hartford):
NET Show Nr. 1235; 2006 Summer tour; 2006 Third tour (show 26)
NET Band Nr. 12: 1999-06-05 to 2001-11-24; 288 shows; Bob Dylan, Tony Garnier, David Kemper, Larry Campbell, and Charlie Sexton
LB-3957, (66min+32min), Audience recording > ? > CDR > EAC (Secure) > WAV > FLAC > Trade DVD > HD > WAV > Audacity > WAV > FLAC (Level 8) > DIME, If you look at the original EAC logs you will see how low the volume was on this, so I used Audacity to amplify it without allowing it to clip. While I was at it I removed a few digi clicks in d1t12. Some track transitions are not entirely seemless., The first track was 0.01 seconds long so I deleted it; Background talking throughout; CEDAR-type fingerprint d1t9@4:51 "Have you been writing down the songs, can I please take a look?". Sound is good to very good.; bittorrent download 08/06; excellent sound [A]; background talking d1t2, d1t3 and continues like this for awhile before building back up for d2t5
LB notes for LB-6506 (Hartford):
LB rating: A
Taper: Unidentified.
Source: audio disks > (dBpowerAMP set to compression level 6) flac
Note: The first two tracks and the last two tracks on disk one are from a different source than the remainder of the
show. On LB, there is just one item listed for this date. I do not know if there is a connection between that recording
and either of the two sources on this recording.
LB-notes for LB-6497 (Saratoga Springs):
LB rating: A
Taper: Unidentified
Mics: There is a notation on the recording that Schoeps mics were used, but no more details.
Source: audio disks > (dBpowerAMP set to compression level 6) flac
Note: There are two items listed at LB: LB-3960 and LB-4471. The LB textwriter identifies these two recordings as being
from the same master. The present torrent is different. It lacks the tell-tale fingerprints given for LB-3960 and it
does not use the mics listed for LB-4471.
