Lineage: Mikrophon Sennheiser MKE 2002 > Sony WM 6 > CD-R Audio from Master Tape > EAC > flac > MD5
bittorrent download 04/08; different recording than LTB LB-5463 and pr LB-5156 based on different crowd at begin of d1t10; in 3-way comparison this has more hiss and is harsher than LTB LB-5463 and LB-5156 is more muffled; very good to excellent sound [B+]

Pal 4.3 Ratio
Mpeg-2 720x576
25 fps, 7500 kb/s
Audio AC3 STEREO
Things are getting better; mics have improved in 3 years, the sound is much better but still "harsh" and will definitely be replaced as this is a real gem HUGE jump up in pic quality and what a great film and show

Many of you knew Dave Dingle and know he died earlier this year. I am pleased to say that his video archive has passed to me with the express plan of preserving things the same way as before. Everything transferred direct from master to PC to you. Pass it on, we lost Dave but the videos we can preserve. I will be crediting all his stuff as "The Two Daves". Some o Daves films will contravene the rules here, such films are eing posted elsewhere so if a number seems to be missing look at ElectricLadyland.
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all. These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.
IMPROVEMENTS OVER PREVIOUS EDITIONS:
-sourced from master video files (Masters Series #117)
-more accurate editing
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-riveting performances by Dylan and a varied setlist
-appearance of Roger McGuinn on find two songs
-cool harp into on "I Want You" with crowd singing later
DISTANCE/POSITION: 13 (Right floor 20˙; filmer was in the midst of the crowd but kept a remarkably steady hand; some panning/little zooming; mostly Dylan waist up with Stan Lynch and Mike Campbell often in the picture; Tom Petty appears occasionally; very brief captures of Benmont Tench. Howie Epstein and the Queens of Rhythm
AUDIO: 13 (excellent LTB recording with a brief bit of LTD for start of "Watching The River Flow")
STEADINESS: 12 (filmer kept a steady hand given his less than ideal position)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 12 (heads and bodies get in the way but filmed does a good job framing Dylan)
FOCUS: 12 (excellent color and sufficient light; soft focus)
EDITING: some clips and cuts filled with stills; frames had to be removed before many songs to maintain a/v sync (see setlist details)
