DIFFERENCES & IMPROVEMENTS TO D459.msu:
-sound upgraded
-filled missing song and cuts of one song with clips from alternate video source
-different title & track menus
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-energetic performances
-June through November 2004 was Stu Kimball’s moment to shine, sharing lead guitar
duties with Larry Campbell, who was replaced by Denny Freeman in 2005
-lots of harp
-“Cry A While” sung venomously with mean slide guitar by Campbell
-Campbell plays fine tremolo cittern on “It’s Alright Ma (I’m Only Bleeding)”
-Dylan mixes up lines of final verse of “It’s Alright Ma (I’m Only Bleeding).” Starts
with “advertising signs they con” but follows with “push fake morals, insult and
stare”
-great arrangement of “Boots Of Spanish Leather” despite Dylan grabbing the wrong
harp at the start
-excellent slide by Campbell on “Honest With Me”
-fine harp on “Every Grain Of Sand”
-tasty lead guitar interplay by Kimball and Campbell on “Summer Days”
-cool electric picking by Kimball on “Don't Think Twice, It's All Right”
-effective pedal steel by Campbell, especially on last two songs

COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-184:
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.
COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-051:
This has circulated previously and is listed at DVDylan.com where you can see samples as D427
But remember this is the original film direct from the master

LB NOTES FOR LB-1911:
bittorrent download>shn>wav
excellent sound (A-); light background talking d1t5, d1t6, d`t7
drop/cut between cdrs
Comment# 114:
While sound upgrading the video, [it was] noticed that the editor of this item did a very skillful job of cutting applause between tracks, no doubt to save space for transfer to CD. This is barely noticeable in most cases, but had to be accounted for by cutting video in order to keep the a/v sync on target. See dvdylan.com, D969 for editing details.]
DVD PRODUCTION PROCESS:
Audio and video assets edited in iMovie 6.0.3; authored, multiplexed and burned to VIDEO_TS folder in iDVD 7.1.2 (Professional Quality 2-pass variable bit rate encoding)
