This is a pretty tough mix, At the start the taper is experimenting with a "4X" adaptor.
These were the days of small zooms, one way to increase it was to get a magnifier that basically multiplied the zoom.
This is tried for the first few songs but soon abandoned as it was clearly not working effectively.
To this you must add the fact that by now our intrepid hero is fighting a bad case of flu (you can hear him cough now an then).
This was a true endurance test. 2 tapers were working together and they had sat in the nearby Novahotel at 6pm talking each other into going.
There was no tape on the previous night as the taper was simply too ill
