DVD PRODUCTION PROCESS:
Produced by yassou on a MacBook Pro running Lion 10.7.5 and Apple software.
Audio and video assets edited in iMovie 6.0.3; authored, multiplexed and burned to VIDEO_TS folder in iDVD 7.1.2 (Professional Quality 2-pass variable bit rate encoding)
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-1st known live performance of "Garden Party," unfortunately mostly cut in original but restored
with stills and soomlos audio.
-Dylan turns back to keyboards ending "To Ramona" with a harp solo facing drummer Anton Fig.
-four covers: "Axe And Wind," "I'll Make It Up To You," "Share Your Love With Me," and "Garden Party."
-strong vocal on "Early Roman Kings"
-cool harp intro to "Under The Red Sky"
-exquisite singing on "Share Your Love With Me"
DISTANCE/POSITION: (8-14) Left floor 40 degrees (mostly close-ups from the left rear; occasional pans to show all players)
AUDIO: (15) excellent soomlos recording
STEADINESS: 14 (mostly steady on Dylan)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 14 (minimal obstructions, e.g., a head to the left of the filmer)
FOCUS: 12 (sepia coloring makes for a rather dull presentation)
EDITING: Many edits were necessary due to breaks between songs and a/v sync issues within songs. It appears that the filmer/editor captured each song individually and then cobbled them together to make a complete DVD. This led to each song being clipped. The filmer/editor also added some slo-mo and transitions within songs that led to a/v sync issues. Stills were used to address these issues and are described in parentheses following each song in the setlist
