COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MA-182:
After those lengthy last few heres a real short one.
I have no idea why but security at the NEC has always been severe so this happens. Shame as when this gets there its really good.

Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.

These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.

LB NOTES FOR LB-11640:
bittorrent download 08/14; in 4-way comparison these are different recordings based on different crowd at end of d1t4; NTE LB-5244 has the fullest warmest sound, this has a warmer sound than cc LB-0843 which also has more hiss; LB-0254 has narrowest sound; (did not listen to all of this)

DVD PRODUCTION PROCESS:
Audio and video assets edited in iMovie 6.0.3; authored, multiplexed and burned to VIDEO_TS folder in iDVD 7.1.2 (Professional Quality 2-pass variable bit rate encoding)

DIFFERENCES & IMPROVEMENTS TO D2007:
-sound upgraded
-cuts filled with stills
-different title & track menus

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-“Forever Young” & “Blowin’ In The Wind” quite good with great back-up vocals by
Sexton & Campbell
-effective slide guitar on “Honest With Me” by Campbell

DISTANCE/POSITION: 5-14 (right balcony 70˙) Far right balcony position not ideal, but filmer zoomed in on Dylan and other players, so what was captured is good. Dylan mostly focused on, but others seen at various points; Sexton seen quite often and for sustained stretches; Campbell seen the least.

AUDIO: 15 (excellent EBR recording, LB-1164)(disc author found this to be the best audio recording available, despite LB-note to the effect that the NTE [LB-5244] recording is better)

STEADINESS: 12 (filmer generally kept a steady hand)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 10 (head on the right and the speaker stack stage right forced filmer to zoom in with very limited opportunity to pan)

FOCUS: 13 (excellent color and good light; focus sharp but a bit grainy on extreme close-ups)

EDITING: cuts filled with stillshots (see setlist details)
