This show is awful. I`ve never seen a show in such a lousy quality. As a Radio DJ I normally expect more professional shows. Normally I would have thrown this disc into the bin. But I will keep it just for the reason of wasted download time at DIME. ... Cheers.

Ok, so here's my shot at a review of Loreley 1981.
First off, I happen to love the 1981 tour, and especially the european leg, so I might be a little bias when reviewing this DVD. I find the performances of the Shot Of Love tour to be very powerful and energetic. But also very beautiful and tender. Thankfully, many of these moments are present on this DVD. Sure the picture quality and sound quality aren't great, but the performances are. Look out for the powerful lineup of Saved, I Believe In You and Like A Rolling Stone. And the tender and beautiful renditions of Girl From The North Country and The Times They Are A-Changin'. Not to mention the great duet Dylan does with Clydie King on Let's Begin. All in all, not great sound or picture quality (what can you expect from a 1981 audience filmed show?), but a very nice addition for any Dylan collection.
