NB: Why, one might ask, is a fourth sound upgrade of this show necessary? Answer: Because D1066 (Masters Series 094) was not available when D218.su, D218.su2 and D218.suu were produced. D218 and D1066 complement each other nicely because they are shot from opposite sides of the Telewest Arena, thus giving the editor the option to switch back and forth for greater variety and to avoid the problematic parts of each. In addition, because the filmer of D218 had to shoot from a vantage point affected by the stage lights (see the final screen shot), much of the footage was over-exposed, particularly on the red end of the spectrum. Moreover, the D218 filmer or editor (inadvertently?) experimented with some special effects that were detrimental. (See the third from last screenshot of D1119, where sepia coloration was used, and the final screenshot of D218.su, where the red is over-exposed) Hence, D1066 gave the editor a better option for that footage.

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-Solid performance
-Stunning "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" and sensitive "Love Minus Zero/No Limit"
-Very enthusiastic audience

IMPROVEMENTS OVER D218 & D1066:
-both cams used so more variety
-emphasis on D1066 so fewer of the D218 overexposed color problems
-D1066 footage affords shots of Larry, Bob, Tony & Bucky & sometimes David

DISTANCE/POSITION: 14 (mostly waist up; D1066 often neck up; D1066 filmed had narrow window to shoot through; D1066 footage affords shots of Larry, Bob, Tony & Bucky & sometimes David)

AUDIO: 15 (excellent)

STEADINESS: 13 (D218 quite steady; D1066 had bodies to deal with)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 13 (two cables hanging from ceiling obstructed D1066)

FOCUS: 12 (D218 often has over-exposed color, especially on red end of spectrum; D1066 grainy on extreme close-ups)

EDITING: Minimal use of stills; occasional brief cuts and stills to keep a/v sync

Technical Pros:
-dynamic audio
-alternate cams lend variety

Technical Cons:
-D218 often over-exposed
-D1066 obstructed by cables and grainy on close-ups
-blue line appears on right border of D218 footage for unknown reasons
