This great performance rounds out the incredible series of 1999 films graciously shared by the filmer, Tom P and his buddy, raygun. This was the last show of the Fall 1999 tour, and Dylan was in fine form and having a blast. You can pick your favorites, but I loved the energetic opener, "I Am The Man, Thomas" and the powerful performance of "Joey." Larry once again proved his virtuosity with turns on several instruments, including a tart and tasty fiddle on "My Back Pages." And, speaking of tart and tasty, a special treat was the guest appearance of Susan Tedeschi, who had opened the show, and who added a hot guitar to "It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry" and "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35", as well as background vocals and willowy dance moves to "Not Fade Away." You can watch that song here:

So, here's another 5-Star item for our ever growing catalog.
