Ahh..now this is more like it! Forget classy dvds like D068.su or D322.su or D729.su or take your pick, this is what I'm more accustomed to seeing when I go to a Dylan concert (and the main reason I'll only be attending one of this years run!)
This is possibly the most bizarre dvd (in Dylan terms anyway!) I have ever watched! Camera focused squarely on the band, nice clean picture, good audio but...it's miles away!! You are literally looking at a moving black Bob like dot located to the bottom left of your screen!
I noticed the title screen is the same type used on other great dvds, but seriously, whoever thought this dvd would benefit from a sound upgrade is either: a. Seriously committed;b. Seriously crazy or c. has far too much time on their hands!
This gets one star for the audio alone which is quite nice and it does mean if you want to listen to this show you can do it without having to get up and put in another cd-r for the encores!! Apart from that forget it!! Many thanks to "NAPBON" for sending me this.ps I hope this review isn't too harsh as I really did enjoy the audio and the actual picture quality cheered me up no end (although probably not for the right reasons!)

The Gods have some wicked sense of humour, here they've let the taper have a fine unobstructed view of the stage, solid footings, and for the whole show to boot, but then they go and alter his light settings (twice). I hope they enjoyed the joke, I didnt. The screen-shots show it all, this is nigh-on unwatchable.
But even with the correct light settings this'd still be hard going. We don't watch a concert like this, I don't anyway, my eyes are constantly moving arround, "who's playing that ?" "why isn't the guitar plugged in ?" "what's that idiot in the crowd doin' ?" add in looking for where the spot operators sitting to counting the lights on the rigging (or as at Wembley '84, where I was stood behind two 18(ish) beauties who spent the entire day trying to bounce their bits'n'bobs out of their evidently inadequate T-shirts; no counting lights that day; hell, Bob could have turned up with a ukelele and went through Donovans entire back-catalogue and I wouldn't have noticed ); no, your view is never static. The best DVDs reflect this, those where the taper has zoomed in & out, left and right, here the Guitar Solo, there the Harmonica. But nothing like that here, if only there was some movement on the stage to compensate, but no.
I defy anyone to sit through the whole of this without wandering, you'd soon be distracted by a lot less than bouncing bits'n'bobs.
2 stars, but one of them is due to the Audio, it's excellent, but a pity that it's just another bog-standard average 2004 show.

Excellent work on the SU, natural looking and spot on.
Distant and dark but clear video, fine audience audio, a good but not great show. Hollis Brown is a standout.
