PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-a very enthusiastic crowd (the disc author was in it)
_setlist heavy on 60’s songs with a few newer ones
-Dylan’s keyboard playing gave the mid-60s songs an Al Kooper feel
_Dylan in good voice and singing expressively
-tasty harp on “She Belongs To Me” and “Ballad Of A Thin Man”
-Herron’s fiddle on “Absolutely Sweet Marie” quite fine and Dylan’s keyboards lent a
distinct carnival flavor
-A tender “Girl Of The North Country”
-a rollicking “Summer Days”
-crowd sings along on choruses of “Like A Rolling Stone”
-menacing lead by Freeman on “All Along he Watchtower” (sounds a bit like Clapton)
DISTANCE/POSITION: 5-12 (right center rear stands) (nicely shot; filmer had a good vantage point in the stands at the rear of the arena; kept on Dylan mostly knees up while singing zooming out and panning to feature all players
AUDIO: 15 (excellent LB-3857)
STEADINESS: 12 (jittery at times, but generally steady)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 13 (fans occasionally passed or stood briefly in front of camera)
FOCUS: 12 (color and light adequate; focus on the soft side/distance and a rather dark venue probably factors)
EDITING: minimal; stills used to fill cut or obstructed parts

COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-185:
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out

RELATED NOTE FOR LB-4274 (“Can’t Read” recording)
In comparison to trust your ears LB-3857 this is very similar sound with slightly fuller sound and slightly less warm but also slightly whinier maybe on the keyboard; because of complaints from this taper about the above comments, another side by side comparison was done by 2 experienced reviewers who both agreed and found that this is not as harsh as the MM LB-3857 but not as natural sounding as trust your ears LB-3857; this does not sound like a csb mic recording as it lacks the warmth those mics generally produce plus there is an overall whininess especially in the upper end of the keyboard and percussion so that overall this has a less natural sound; the assumption is that it sounds this way because of the extra "mastering" and not from the mics; excellent sound [A-]
