As I write this I am finishing my first viewing. It is the first show, live or taped, that I have seen in 10+ years, so pardon my relative ignorance. It is only the second audience taped DVD I have ever seen, so I don't have much to compare to. All the above qualifiers in place, here goes.

The sound is fine, not perfect, but it sounds as if one were sitting somewhere in the upper decks, a lot of fat reverb, especially on the vocals. Speaking of the vocals, I was quite impressed. The voicings are strong and the nuances on the existing melodies are uplifting, and not even a bit sloppy.

The band is tight, and the taper does a nice job giving you a at least a bit of all of them - we have to battle heads sometimes, but so does anyone at a live concert, right?

The set list is great. Hot rendition of 'Just like a woman', 'Stuck Inside of Mobile', and 'Like a Rolling Stone'

I don't know if I'll ever take the time to sit down and watch it again, but it was lots of fun the first time around. Many thanks to the generous individual who sent it to me just for the asking.

Well, I know we all waited for this to come out, and now it's here. I just recieved via trade this disk and watched it last night...Not so good my friends..

IMO the taper had a decent view of the stage, however, was probably not the most nimble camera man. Anyway, the sound is fairly grainy, as is the picture. The setlist isn't so bad, but Bob doesn't seem to be really into it(as mentioned in the Expecting Rain review).

I guess if you are desparate to see Bob's new band, or catch a bit of this new tour, you will probably want this, however, it is not the most enjoyable watch.

Overall a 3 star DVD, but who knows, maybe you'll get more out of it me.
