DIFFERENCES & IMPROVEMENTS OVER D456.su:
-used master video source (MS-151)
-original PAL format (D456.su was transcoded to NTSC)
-divided into 2 discs for highest bitrate
-missing songs not included (D456.su editor employed stills for missing songs 1-4)
-better selection of stills for cuts/clips without reliance on special effects
-different top and track menus
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-“Matchbook” with Carl Perkins a rare treat w/Dylan holding his own lick-for-lick
with the guitar great
-great vocal on “Every Grain Of Sand”
-fine country picking by Jackson & Dylan on “Watching The River Flow”
-cool harp on “Watching The River Flow” & “Don't Think Twice, It's All Right”
-fine dobro by Baxter on “Mr. Tambourine Man” & mandolin on “Don't Think Twice, It's
All Right”
-chilling vocal on “Masters Of War”
-very appreciative crowd, especially during acoustic set
DISTANCE/POSITION: 11-15 (right balcony 50˙) (unobstructed view; mostly focused on Dylan, with some effective panning & zooming; Baxter on far right and rarely seen)
AUDIO: 14 (excellent LB-6217 audio)
STEADINESS: 12 (sometimes shaky, but mostly stable)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 15 (outstanding/filmer had an unobstructed position)
FOCUS: 11 (color, light and focus all good; close-ups somewhat grainy in low light; mic reflection causes distortion on Dylan’s face when light is reddish-orange)
EDITING: stills employed to fill cuts, clips, and off-target stretches
