A filming disaster!
I agree completely with whitedove's review on this dvd.
Bob gives one hell of a show with a good setlist but the dvd is hardly listen-able
The gutair's just sound like a crunch sound and there is always fans talking in the background.
It's ashame a Bob show with special guest Ronnie Wood wasen't caught on film better!
Boots of Spanish Leather is the highlight!

Yep unfortunately only one star for film quality but worth having for the 10 star performance Bob gives of BOSL! The stand out track. A good NDY too.
There's excessive camera wobble most of the way through but the taper does a good job against all the odds and tries and succeeds to show us all the band, plus Ronnie Wood's antics, on many occasions. I'm still glad I have this dvd in my collection.

Only the one star I'm afraid, would have liked to give more as despite all it's many, many faults, I actually quite enjoyed it. But 2 stars would be pushing it.
Don't be taken in by the Screenshots. Hardly any of the DVD looks as good as that. Our taper's stuck way back in the crowd, and I do mean 'in'. As a result he's had to film it past a pile of heads, hats, cups, hands, cigarettes, balloons - you name it, it'll be there somewhere. There's hardly a shot where there's nothing obstructing his view (why do I assume HIS ?).
(Should a box to stand on be part of the tapers rig from now on ?)
Add in the constant jolting he's suffering, and it makes it a hard DVD to watch. Now and then he gets a (semi)clear shot of the stage, but then goes and spoils it by zooming in, the camera can't handle it, picture goes all fuzzy.
Sound - very muddy and lots and lots of crowd noise. Upgrade needed, but is it worth it ?
But I quite enjoyed it. Maybe it's just seeing the band, even Bob himself, seemingly happy to be there. Ron Wood appears to chatter constantly, so perhaps it's only his endless supply of blue jokes that's making them laugh, but they do look as if they're enjoying themselves.
Seeing Bob laugh on stage is surely worth one star on it's own , rarity value at least ?
