IMPROVEMENTS OVER D218.su, D218.su2 and D218.suu:
-sourced from PAL master which mitigated the vividness issue present in earlier
editions
-used movie clips instead of stills to deal with cuts and sync issues
-divided into two DVDs for higher bitrate
-different top and track menus

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-enthusiastic audience sing-alongs
-solid performance with Dylan in powerful voice's
-great backup vocals by Campbell and Baxter
-spine tingling take on “Masters Of War
-tender performance of "Love Minus Zero/No Limit"
-stunning "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" evokes audience sing-along on choruses
-Dylan quite animated during instrumentals of “Highway 61 Revisited” & “Rainy Day
Women #12 & 35”

DISTANCE/POSITION: 8-14 (right balcony 50˙) (excellent camera work with effective zooming; Dylan and Campbell featured prominently; Kemper mostly hidden by speaker, but drum kit and sticks often seen; Garnier’s hat and hand on bass seen a few times; Baxter unseen)

AUDIO: 15 (excellent LB-4607)

STEADINESS: 13 (quite steady even between songs)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 13 (locked on to Dylan and Campbell with speakers blocking stage right)

FOCUS: 13 (rich color and excellent light; bright red and orange lights caused a rather vivid image, e.g., “Masters Of War”; bright spotlight caused some horizontal lines; image a bit grainy on some extreme close-ups)

EDITING: Minimal use of stills; editor used movie clips where feasible, especially to deal with a/v sync issues (see setlist details)

COOPS2009 9 NOTES FOR MS-170:
Not only are these shows well filmed but they were brilliant concerts
The band an Bob really COOK,, don't miss em.
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies
will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out

LB NOTES FOR LB-4706:
bittorrent download 03/07; different recording than doberman LB-2259 and LB-4477 based on different crowd at end of d1t2; in 3-way comparison, this is fuller sound than LB-4477 but not as warm; this has similar sound to LB-2259 but that has hiss; excellent sound [A];
(a bittorrent from 03/08 has different md5 but same flac fingerprint on d1t1; described as "Taper: Bach, Taper's note: This is an alternate capture of the same show uploaded by Hanspeter, DAT-Clone > TASCAM DA-40 > HD > dbpowerAMP Music Converter flac > md5summer" with filenames like "00 Announcement.flac")
