DIFFERENCES/IMPROVEMENTS OVER FROM MS-214/D2018:
-sound upgraded
-cuts & obstructed parts filled with stills
-different title and track menus

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-high energy show, especially Dylan’s singing and Smith’s guitar
-1st live performance of “Tears Of Rage”
-audience member yells out “Pater hēmōn (Πάτερ ἡμῶν) (Our father) before “Shelter
From The Storm,” an apparent request that Dylan recite the Lord’s Prayer. Or maybe,
a reference to Dylan himself as “Our father.”
-Dylan shouts out “Shut that light off please!” during “Silvio”
-plenty harp
-stinging leads by Smith, especially the slide on “Highway 61 Revisited”
-unbroken transition from “Two Soldiers” to “Knocking’ On Heaven’s Door”
-band false starts with “Desolation Row” before “Girl Of The North Country”
-audience member holds up large candle during “Girl Of The North Country”

DISTANCE/POSITION: Left floor 5˙ (film in midst of crowd, so shakiness and obstructions occur, but video is watchable; focus mostly on Dylan with Parker behind, but filmer pans to to Smith on some leads; Garnier sometimes seen when he moves toward Dylan)

AUDIO: 1y (very good sound; upgrade source runs faster than video soundtrack so had to be reduced by 0.75%; chatty audience)

STEADINESS: 7 (shaky, but watchable)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 7 (continually obstructed, but filmer manages to shoot through crowd)

FOCUS: 11 (good color and adequate light; fair focus)

EDITING: cut & obstructed parts filled with stills; sync problems fixed with speed reduction of upgrade source

Concert # 91 of The Never-Ending Tour
Bob Dylan (vocal, harp & acoustic & electric guitar)
G. E. Smith (backup vocal, acoustic & electric guitar)

COOPS2009 NOTES ON MS-214:
A short part of this video circulated previously, at the time I thought that was all there was, clearly I was wrong both nights in Greece exist on film (athens next) and whilst this is hardly the Daves finest moments its not bad. Curious that the original cassettes don't appear to exist, just the U-Matic master. well here it is.

ADDITIONAL NOTES ON LB-7246 FROM LOSSLESS BOB:
bittorrent download 02/09; same recording as LB-0485 based on same clapping wavs at end of d1t8; in comparison this one has a warmer fuller sound; excellent sound [A-]

NOTE FROM DVD AUTHOR:
The audio upgrade source ran faster than the video soundtrack. The video soundtrack may have been a bit off, too, judging by lag in cymbal beats. Reduced speed of upgrade source 0.50%

DVD PRODUCTION PROCESS: Audio and video assets edited in iMovie 6.0.3; authored, multiplexed and burned to VIDEO_TS folder in iDVD 7.1.2 (Professional Quality 2-pass variable bit rate encoding)
