NOTE: This is a different camera than either of the other two items in the DVDylan catalog (D545.m and D637). All three cams are from the right floor, and this is the best quality of the three. The other two cams were used to fill cuts. Except for the fills, the top and track menus, and the end credits, this is identical to D1193.msu.

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/LOWLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-fairly pedestrian setlist with most songs from the 60's and no songs later than 1975, but "Trail Of The Buffalo" a treat to hear and exceptionally well-sung and played.
-thumping Johnny Cash-style "chug-a-chug-a" bass on several songs by Tony Garnier, especially "Trail Of The Buffalo"
-powerful "Highway 61" w/stinging G.E. Smith lead
-long harp outros on "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Don't Think Twice, It's
Alright"

DISTANCE/POSITION: 15 (center floor; waist-up on Dylan with occasional views of other players; gets closer from "I Don't Believe You" to the end) (Filmer did a decent job keeping focus on Dylan despite being implanted in the middle of the crowd)

AUDIO: 14 (excellent LTD recording)

STEADINESS: 10 (filmer kept it pretty steady despite obstructions)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 10 (shot between crowd and mostly on-target, but bodies often block out screen, especially on the left side)

FOCUS/COLOR/LIGHT: 12 (good color and adequate light; focus good)

EDITING: cuts between most songs and elsewhere required the use of stills and movie clips, the latter chosen where possible from the other two cameras; cuts also made to upgrade audio made to account for the video cuts

There is some conflict here as not all of this has been previously available. I have no idea why it was first edited, but here it is, uncut.

Remember even if you have some of the Dave's films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all. These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.
