DISTANCE/POSITION:
Position from the left balcony at 30˙ angle, mostly head-to-toe or waist up. Filmer pans effectively and keeps several players visible throughout. Limited zooming until encores. Lots of shots of Dylan interacting with Larry. Bucky featured on mandolin and pedal steel.
AUDIO:
Excellent. No echo, cuts, or clipping. Sound drop after start moderated by disc author.
STEADINESS: Often unsteady, particularly before and after songs.
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS:
Audience probably stood at start and ending of songs thus hindering the filmer. Heads and bodies not a problem during songs except during encores when folks are dancing at their seats.
FOCUS/COLOR/LIGHT/RESOLUTION:
Rarely out of focus with fair color and poorer than average resolution. Probably copied to source Hi8 tape from a 2nd generation tape or DVD.
EDITING:
Missing/off-target/obstructed parts filled with stills. Sound drop at start moderated by lowering volume. Fill from video soundtrack used for encore break where upgrade source is cut.
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
A dynamic performance that garnered positive reviews. (eight reviews are posted at boblinks). "Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour" a highlight (one of only five performances of this song).
After "Girl Of The North Country," an unidentified young lady sporting a long, slinky skirt sashays her way across the stage from the left, passes between Dylan and Tony, and places something in front of the drum kit. A note? A flower?
