DASH-F RATING ON 10-POINT SCALE:
DISTANCE/POSITION: 5
AUDIO: 8
STEADINESS: 6
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 5
FOCUS: 4
AVERAGE QUALITY = 5.75 (excludes Distance)
VIDEO SOURCE:
Hi8 tape probably sourced from a 1st generation tape.
Songs 1-4 missing; song 5 no useable footage
AUDIO SOURCE:
LB-3375 (trade CDs)
DISTANCE/POSITION:
Left rear
70 degrees left of center
Limited zoom & panning.
AUDIO:
Very good; vocals upfront; good bass; no distortion, clipping, or echo.
STEADINESS:
Camera fairly steady.
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS:
Filmer's extreme left position blocked out Kemper and offered only occasional views of Campbell. (Used still of Kemper from Northampton, MA 15-April-1997 show for Band Intros.)
FOCUS/COLOR/LIGHT/RESOLUTION:
Color is fair, but focus is blurry.
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
This probably won't be anyone's favorite DVD, but it at least preserves the footage that the filmer was able to capture and share with the community.
EDITING:
First five songs missing or completely obstructed. DVD starts with sixth song ("Friend of the Devil"). All songs obstructed at start, thus necessitating fills. Occasional cuts and obstructions during songs or between songs also called for fills.
