NB: Why yet another edition of this show? Easy answer. Previous editions (D1071.m and D1071.msu) were sourced from a Hi8 tape that was sourced from the master mini-dv tapes that were used for this project. If you have D1071.msu, you may wish to pass on this one. However, there are some other improvements noted below that you may wish to consider.
4+/4+/4+/5-/5 (VS 1 rating w/sound upgrade)

Improvements over D1071.msu
-used master dv tapes
-more precise audio editing
-more economical use of stills
-improved use of VS 2
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-duets with Paul SImon are very special, despite a couple of flubs
-Bob's harp on "The Sound Of Silence" and his difficulty finding it
-Paul forgets second half of verse of "Forever Young"
-Bob hurriedly exits stage after set with Simon (Was he pissed off?)
-terrific vocals. especially on "All Along The Watchtower" & "Don't Think Twice, It's All
Right"
DISTANCE/POSITION:
VS 1: 12 (left balcony 50˙; zooms in closer than VS 2)
VS 2: 11 (left balcony 50˙; shot from higher up in the balcony than VS 1)
AUDIO: 12 (very good but a bit echoey; missing part of intro. to Dylan set; original editor cut out applause before encore, before a couple of songs, and at end necessitating use of video soundtrack)
STEADINESS:
VS 1: 12
VS 2: 12
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS:
VS 1: 13
VS 2: 12
FOCUS:
VS 1: 14 (better color and focus than VS 2 but darker)
VS 2: 12 (brighter than VS 1, but grainier)
EDITING: Disc author mainly used VS 1 (VS 2 was used solely for D790, D790.ra, D790.su and for fills on D1071.m and D1071.msu)

version "a", Stereo audience recording. Most likely same source as LB-6224, though levels are quite lower on this one. I had this version (no info file accompanying it), which should have been complete (3cd), but for some reason d1 was mislabeled as 'colorado springs 1999-06-06 - 3', though included Chicago 1999-10-26 late show instead. Other folders were mixedup too, settled in the wrong order (original setlist attached). I took Paul Simon's missing portion from the same fileset torrented with LB-6224, deamplifying it conveniently as to match the levels on this previous version I had long ago. Removed some gaps, cleaned it up briefly, reordered the whole set and rearranged a few trackmarks as they were noticeably misplaced. The rest was left as it was. Log files of the original extraction from audio Cd-R's are also included (except for the mentioned d1 'carolina springs 1999-06-06 - 3', obviously), Taper: Unknown, Lineage: Cd-R(x) > eac(secure mode) > flac on data DVD (flac 1.1.1) > wav (flac 1.2.1b) > wav (adobe audition 1.5) > flac (flac 1.2.1b w/flac frontend - align on SB option - level 8 - verify on), Enjoy!, Luisbp51 (Hungercity October 9, 2011)
bittorrent download 10/11; same recording as LB-6224 based on same clapping wavs at end of d2t5 with similar wav and spectral view except that has much higher levels so clips a lot and is compressed and limited and has more digital flaws; the sound is suppressed; very good to excellent sound [B+]
drop/cut beginning of d3t7, d3t8
