COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-186:
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.

LB NOTES FOR LB-3868:
background singalong on d2t1, d2t5
(a bittorrent from 02/09 does not have matching md5 file and torrent description states it is a cdr burn and eac from this set; but mis- describes itself with this info file and LB number without mentioning the cdr step; has filenames like "bd-2006-06-28-d1t01.flac")

DVD PRODUCTION PROCESS:
Audio and video assets edited in iMovie 6.0.3; authored, multiplexed and burned to VIDEO_TS folder in iDVD 7.1.2 (Professional Quality 2-pass variable bit rate encoding)

DIFFERENCES OVER & IMPROVEMENTS TO D685.m2:
-sound upgraded
-filled cuts with stills
-different title & track menus

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-heavy on 60s songs
-plenty of harp
-band, especially Receli, smoking hot on “Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum”
-“Masters Of War” quite convincing
-crowd sings along on choruses of “Just Like A Woman”
-Freeman’s lead gives “Summer Days” a Bob Wills feel
-cool pedal steel by Herron on “All Along The Watchtower”

DISTANCE/POSITION: 5-12 (Center Balcony) (advantageous position gave filmer freedom to zoom and pan at will)

AUDIO: 15 (excellent LB-3868 “Trust Your Ears” recording)

STEADINESS: 11 (rather jittery and shaky between songs)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 13 (some passing bodies and a head that occasionally intrudes from the right, but otherwise unobstructed)

FOCUS: 13 (color and light good, focus on the soft side)

EDITING: Except for matching up the audio and the video, none need for Disc 1)
