LB NOTES FOR LB-4637 (from LB-12071 description):
This (LB-12071) has a harsher sound than LB-4637; LB-4322 has less full sound; (did not listen to all of this)
COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-171:
Not only are these shows well filmed but they were brilliant concerts. The band an Bob really COOK,, don't miss em. Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.

IMPROVEMENTS OVER MS-171/449.m
—sound upgraded no need to use double soundtrack
-used movie clips and stills to deal with cuts
-different top and track menus
IMPROVEMENTS OVER D449.su2:
-sourced from master
-did not need double soundtrack
-less vivid reds and oranges so no need for color adjustments
-used movie clips instead of stills where possible to fill cuts
-different top and track menus
PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-filmer caught great shots of audience
-the band looks great, especially Campbell in his lavender jacket
-fine performances throughout with fine vocals by Dylan
-unfortunately, no harp
-great 5-song acoustic set somewhat compromised by audience chatter
-another chilling “Masters Of War”
-nice performance of “Mama, You Been On My Mind” with cool acoustic guitar interplay
between Dylan and Campbell
-Baxter’s pedal steel a highlight of “Forever Young”
-inspired take on “Desolation Row”
-Kemper & Garnier cook on “Highway 61 Revisited”
-moving harmonies by Baxter and Campbell with help from the audience
on the choruses of “Blowin' In The Wind”
DISTANCE/POSITION: 8-14 (lCenter balcony) (excellent camera work with effective zooming and panning; Dylan mostly knees up; all players seen, though Kemper’s head is mostly hidden by cymbal)
AUDIO: 14 (excellent LB-4637) (clear voices and instruments but audience rather chatty)
STEADINESS: 12 (occasionally unsteady, but not too distracting)
HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 13 (filmer had a clear shot with few obstructions)
FOCUS: 13 (rich color and excellent light; focus sometimes on the soft side with reds and oranges on the vivid side; color effects on “Tangled Up In Blue” probably not to everyone’s taste)
EDITING: Minimal need for stills; editor used movie clips where feasible) (see setlist details)
