COOPS2009 NOTES FOR MS-174:
Another short but well filmed one, they were good concerts even if the band are a little subdued.
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.

LB NOTES FOR LB-1491:
Schubert; with additional SoundMastering (a version without sound mastering, is available, too, with fade-ins and fade-outs only); Sound quality: 13; near dt21 0:20 sound gets loud and squeaks

DIFFERENCES & IMPROVEMENTS TO D174.msu:
-sound upgraded
-filled off-target parts & cuts with stills
-different title & track menus

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-“Highlands” sounded better than the official version to my ears. Definitely
a crowd favorite, but one wonders why Dylan sang it in Glasgow, rather than
Aberdeen, which is actually name-checked in the song.
Unfortunately the capture had numerous cuts.
-nice blend of acoustic and electric numbers with fine singing by Dylan with
harmonies from Campbell & Sexton.
-very energetic “Drifter’s Escape”
-tender reading of “It Ain’t Me, Babe,” with crowd clap and sing-along

DISTANCE/POSITION: 4-5+ (Poor filming position from the floor in the midst of the crowd. Filmer struggled to stay focused on Dylan with little opportunity to capture other players. Some sustained glimpses of Campbell & Garnier; Kemper & Sexton very rarely seen; Baxter never seen.)
AUDIO: 15 (superlative Schubert recording, LB-1491)

STEADINESS: 6 (filmer struggled to stay on Dylan with mixed results)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 5 (highly obstructed)

FOCUS: 10 (color and light quite good, but camera often had to re-focus due to the many obstructions)

EDITING: no songs are complete, and all in need of patching (see setlist details)
