Sound upgraded with excellent LB-4912 soomlos audio.
D741>MpegStreamclip1.8b2>iMovieHD>iDVD5 (00:00:00 - 09:29:02).
D741>Sony standalone recorder>MpegStreamclip1.8b2>iMovieHD>iDVD5 (09:29:02 - end).
(Video quality somewhat degraded because source would not transfer directly to editing program after 09:29:02 for unknown reasons.)

An excellent video was used, almost complete, crisp and colorful images. The audio is equally sweet.
Unfortunately, for the first time in quite a while, there is some Video degradation in the version as compared to the un-SU version. The author knows it, and has reflected in in his submission (see star ratings for each version)...too bad...
Still the trade off is a wonderfully completed project, complete with stills, complete concert audio, and the distinctive and funtional menus we've come to anticipate from this dedicated and tireless author.
So, in the end, I will recommend both D741 and D741.su strongly, but in this case I can't regard D741.su as a replacement for the other. Of course, if you are less obsessive about this stuff than I, you will probably be very happy with this item.
