All songs are clipped at the beginning. Sound is upgraded and the performance is inspired.
Very nice sound and pretty clear with a good picture and very upclose. Bob's vocals are good compared to some shows this year and bob's guitar is nice and clear.
The main problem for me is that it's too shakey and gets very anoying, sometimes it fine but other times not so much.
I woulden't recommend it for a newbie but if you want a show from this year it will be nice for your collection.

SOUND Sweet
IMAGE Close, tired and shaky. If you look at the screenshots, you'll see the fourth one shows a better, closer, fresher picture than the two above it. This is because the last Dublin song here - The Water Is Wide - was filmed from a different spot (possibly even by a different camera) to the other six, resulting, through this cut only, in a notably superior image. GE gets a reasonable amount of screen time, although, D apart, we see virtually nothing of anyone else. Bonus picture (see last screenshot) is more distant, left-sided, of average quality only.
RUNNING TIME Dublin runs 30 minutes with bonus another six and a half. First two songs comprise music plus last verse only, opening lines of Eden and Water are clipped away and Heaven’s Door is cut off in its prime.
PERFORMANCE D, turned out like a latterday Molly Malone, plays acoustic through the first six numbers then, perhaps surprisingly, delivers Water in electric mode - but with full respect. After protracted strumming before Hattie Carroll and a couple of whispered exchanges between D and GE, an Irish voice close to the taper confidently observes "He's forgot the words!" And though D's look does inspire exactly that kind of faith in his abilities, to his credit he performs consistently for the ear tonight better than - indeed in seeming defiance of - the abject parody of himself that he presents so wilfully to the eye. Of historical interest, Tony Garnier (in for Kenny Aaronson) plays his first NET gig tonight of very many.
HIGHLIGHT The Water Is Wide stands out. With the taper clearly picking and choosing what to record, we can thank him for catching this, but in the same breath curse him for passing on Eileen Aroon two cuts later. Even audio bonus of this rather than Night Comes Falling (one of Bob's least persuasive songs) would have been very welcome... But so it goes.
THANKS Baggy
STARS Audio is fine, but film is a bit sad, somewhat rocky and has too much missing to score big stars - thus three.

Pretty shaky, sometimes obstructed but highly enjoyable. Dylan plays acoustic guitar in most songs and performance is excellent. I like "Every Grain Of Sand" and "The Lonesome Death Of Hattie Carroll". It's good to listen to "The Water Is Wide" as well. But I am very sorry that many songs are missing. One bonus track never makes up for those.
