Two years on from those embarrassing 91 concerts and a rejuvenated Dylan does the first night of his third and final residency (so far) at Hammersmith.

Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all. These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out.

There are now four versions of this show in the DVDylan catalog: D501, D501.su, D501.m and D501.msu. The first two are NTSC transfers, and the quality is quite good despite the transfer. D501.m is directly-sourced from the master PAL tape, but has some pauses and pixellation issues on several of the Disc-2 songs. D501.msu is sourced directly from D501.m and has fills for the missing songs and some for the pixellation issues. All in all, I'd give D501.msu the edge, unless you don't like the fills. In that case, go for D501.su.
