DIFFERENCES & IMPROVEMENTS OVER D416.m/MS-167:
-sound upgraded
-original PAL format (D416 is transcoded to NTSC)
-missing parts filled with stills
-different top and track menus

DIFFERENCES & IMPROVEMENTS OVER D416.su:
-excludes missing songs (D416.su includes songs 11-18 as audio-only tracks)
-original PAL format (D416.su is NTSC)
-less over-ambitious editing; thus, fewer stills needed
-did not need to cut frames for a/v sync

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-Dylan’s voice rather gravelly, but par for the 1992 course (think 1992 Grammys)
-harp played in a cross-harp style reminiscent of “Lily, Rosemary And The Jack Of
Hearts”
-acoustic songs 8 & 9 performed solo
-mean delivery of “Seeing The Real You At Last” especially guitars by Diaz and
Jackson
-“What Good Am I” sung with conviction
-eerie dobro by Baxter on “Maggie’s Farm” (song unfortunately mostly cut)
-“Girl On The Green Briar Shore” & “Don't Let Your Deal Go Down” treats to hear and
see
-staccato last verse of “A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall”
-more weird sound effects from Baxter’s dobro “A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall”

DISTANCE/POSITION: 11-15 (Left floor 10˙ (mostly Dylan waist up with some panning to the left to show Diaz, Jackson and the drummers; Garnier and Baxter on the right and rarely seen; panning restricted because filmer had to shoot from floor with audience in front)

AUDIO: 15 (excellent LB-1597)

STEADINESS: 12 (a bit jittery, especially between songs, but quite watchable)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 12 (shot between audience, so bodies sometimes intrude)

FOCUS: 13 excellent color, focus and light all excellent

EDITING: starts and transitions between songs were cut so stills were added

Concert # 408 of The Never-Ending Tour:

COOPS2009 NOYES FOR MS-167:
Rather truncated but very watchable film; captures the rare Greenbriar shore really well also.

EC30 tapes transferred to PC via a Panasonic NV-W1 Professional triple standard vhs machine. Files authored to DVD with Tempgenc DVD Works Author 4

Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies
will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all.
These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades eventually with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out

LB NOTES LB-1597:
Remastered by Improved Air Remaster, 12-22-02
same recording as version "a" LB-0764 based on same clapping at end of d1t9; this is sound processed and fuller spectrum; excellent sound

(a bittorrent from 10/10 is a close eac match on d1t1 with same digital flaws; described as "Improved Air Remaster" with filenames like "CD1\01 Don't Let Your Deal Go Down.shn"; xref-00620)

(a bittorrent from 01/11 of flac files includes matching shn md5s to xref-00620; described as "Improved Air Remasters 046, Improved Air Catalog Number: IA46, TITLE: untitled (2cd)" with filenames like "01 Don't Let Your Deal Go Down.flac"; xref-00695)

Related comment on LB-4526: bittorrent download 02/07 same recording as version "a" LB-0764 and IAR LB-1597 based on same clapping at end of d1t9; this is full spectrum where version "a" LB-0764 is not; in comparison to IAR LB-1597 that one seems to have a narrow band at 15k reduced and otherwise the high end increased a little; in comparison to LB-0763 that one is warmer but not as bright on vocals; (did not listen to all of this)
