GENERAL COMMENTS: Very nice sound quality and performance overall. One thing I especially noticed about this one is the great crowd response. Dylan's perfomance just gets better and better throughout the concert - probably due to the fantastic response from the crowd.
SPECIFICS: There is some great harmonica work here from Dylan and Dylan is quite bubbly in parts. "Two Soldiers" is one of the highlights - a delightful performance. A very interesting rendition of "I Believe in You" and Dylan introduces "Don't Think Twice, it's allright" with a VERY interesting explanation of how he came to write the song. Finally, a very fiery performance of "Highway 61" (a personal favourite) draws the concert to a nice climax and the crowd knows it.
VERDICT: This one is very good - definitely worthy of being in any collection. 1991 was an interesting year for Dylan - a motley record with some sparkling performances (see D587.su for example just two days before this performance) but also some rather lackluster ones as well (see D623.su to see what I mean). Get this one, you won't be disappointed.
RECOMMENDED DRINKING MATERIAL WHILST VIEWING DVD: A glass of Balantine's Finest does it for me.
Big thank-you to taaa for this one.
