shame this isn't longer as its hot from a nice angle and is quite clear, Transferred direct from E-C30 master tapes using original panasonic camera to PC via high gain fire wire. Authored with Tempgenc 4.3 DVD author.
Remember even if you have some of the Daves films already that at best your copies will be 2 generations poorer than anything in the Masters series, so get em all. These will be with original sound though many will feature as sound upgrades with my two mates Yassou and Madhasse helping out. LB Notes for LB-4570: (75min), GD; harsh, same recording as LB-979; based on same clapping at end of d1t4; in comparison that one is warmer sound but has more hiss and noise in the high end making it less clear; very good to excellent sound [B+]

Great video for the vintage. One of, if not the, best audience DVDs from 88. Thanks to all!

DVD AUTHOR'S RATING: (Overall given 5 stars on the basis of the terrific performance and the vintage of the recording)
5-point scale: 5-/4+/3/4/4+
15-point scale: 13/12/8/11/12 (avg. 10.75 B)

PERFORMANCE/HIGHLIGHTS/SPECIAL MOMENTS:
-highly charged Dylan vocals, especially on "In The Garden."
-searing guitar by G.E. Smith

DISTANCE/POSITION: 13 (shot from the right floor 40 degrees in the midst of the crowd affording little opportunity for panning and zooming; waist up on Dylan throughout with G.E. Smith often in the picture; no sightings of other players

AUDIO: 12 (very good recording; had to be slowed 2.00% to sync w/video)

STEADINESS: 8 (filmer did a good job given his less than ideal position)

HEADS/OBSTRUCTIONS: 11 (heads and bodies get in the way but filmer does a good job framing Dylan between the heads and bodies)

FOCUS: 11 (very good color, light and focus for the vintage)

EDITING: relatively few clips and cuts; very brief stills added occasionally to maintain a/v sync (see setlist details)
